25th Anniversary of Ribfest Chicago on the North Side of the City

Sweet Baby Ray’s, the presenting sponsor of this year’s event, is celebrating 40 years and its Chicago roots.

The festival runs Friday through Sunday at 4000 N. Lincoln Avenue, located at Lincoln/Irving Park/Damen roads.

Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to sample delicious BBQ offerings from a variety of top vendors. These vendors will be showcasing their signature ribs and side dishes, all while vying for the prestigious titles of People’s Choice award, which will be determined by the attendees, and the top award, which will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges.

Some of the renowned vendors participating in the event include Armadillo’s BBQ, Aussom Aussie BBQ, Austin Texas Lightning, Baby Gold BBQ, Big City BBQ, Chicago BBQ Company, Lexington Betty Smokehouse, Mr. Greens BBQ (last year’s People’s Choice Winner), Salt Creek BBQ, Johnson’s BBQ Ribs, and Robinson’s #1 Ribs.

Families attending the event can make the most of the day by visiting the spacious kids’ area, which will feature inflatables and games for children to enjoy. For those seeking a more exclusive experience, VIP passes are available for purchase. VIP ticket holders will gain access to the VIP Lounge Tent, complete with private seating, restroom facilities, charging stations, a swag bag, drink tickets, and more!

Ribfest Chicago continues to be Chicago’s most anticipated street festival, welcoming BBQ fans from all over to celebrate the summer at this three-day event!
