Three North Carolina adults have been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal ATV accident involving two teenagers.
Rosman High School students Layne Jones and Jayden Reynaldo tragically lost their lives in August 2024 while riding an ATV in Rosman, a small town located in the southwestern part of North Carolina near the South Carolina border.
They slammed into a tree on Old Wagon Road and were pronounced dead at the scene, according to WLOS.
According to reports from the Transylvania Times, North Carolina authorities had mentioned that Jones and Reynaldo had been at a party on the same street on the night of the accident.
Court documents from Transylvania County reveal that Brandon Rathbone is currently charged with facilitating the purchase of alcohol by a minor. (Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office)
Darity was reportedly released on $20,000 bond, according to WLOS. Her attorney is not commenting on the case at this time.
