52 contestants, representing each state along with Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico, are currently gathered in Orlando vying for the prestigious title of Miss America 2025. A series of preliminary rounds have already taken place in preparation for the ultimate showdown on Sunday, January 5th.
Preliminary winners have been announced in several categories.
Miss Tennessee Carley Vogel, Miss Pennsylvania Paige Weinstein and Miss North Carolina Carrie Everett won the talent competition.
Miss Florida Casino Fink, Miss North Dakota Sophia Richards and Miss Texas Annette Addo-Yobo won in the Evening Gown category.
Miss Wisconsin Mandi Genord, Miss Ohio Stephanie Finite and Miss South Carolina Davis Wash topped the Fitness awards.
The winner of Miss America 2025 will walk away with a generous $50,000 scholarship prize. In total, the organizers have disclosed that more than $300,000 in scholarships for tuition will be granted throughout the Miss America and Miss America Teen competitions scheduled for this weekend.
The distinguished panel of judges for the final round includes notable personalities such as Olympic champion Carl Lewis, former Miss America 1995 Heather Whitestone McCallum, retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General Stacy D. Harris, former Miss America 1985 Sharlene Wells Hawkes, and WWE/”Cheer” breakout star Gabby Butler.
