Miss California MAGA model slams sobbing Selena Gomez and asks why she doesn't house illegal migrants in her mansion

A former Miss California and runner-up Miss USA has slammed Selena Gomez for her video sobbing over President Donald Trump’s deportation policy.

Carrie Prejean Boller, a dedicated supporter of Trump, criticized the 32-year-old actress on social platforms for a video she posted and later removed. In the video, the actress mentioned feeling helpless because Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were deporting ‘her people.’

Boller directly addressed Selena Gomez in her online post, suggesting that Gomez should offer shelter to those she was upset about getting deported at her well-protected residence, instead of simply voicing her concerns. Boller implied that Gomez had the means to assist but chose not to do so.

‘Have them over for dinner, feed them, bathe them, let them sleep in your home, pay for their schooling and medical bills.

Boller also pointed out that the actress from Only Murders in the Building had not shown any public reaction to tragic incidents involving victims like nursing student Laken Riley, who was killed by an unauthorized immigrant, or the case of Maryland mother Rachel Morin.

‘Save your fake tears,’ she told the actress.

Gomez had purchased the home of late rock star Tom Petty for $4.9million in 2020, according to Home Beautiful.

The more than 11,000-square-foot Encino, California property – which was custom-built by Petty and his wife Jane Benyo in 1989 – features six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

It comes complete with an outdoor pool, a gym, a massage room and a wine cellar.

Gomez, who was born in Texas and is an American citizen, currently lives at the property with her grandparents.

In her short teary-eyed video on Monday, the Wizards of Waverly Place alum claimed: ‘All my people are getting attacked, the children. I don’t understand.

‘I’m so sorry, I wish I could do something but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise.’

The actress captioned the post: ‘I’m sorry’ with a Mexican flag emoji.

But the video did not sit well with social media users, who were quick to slam her for not using her reported net worth of $1.3 billion to take action herself.

Leading the charge was British journalist and broadcaster Piers Morgan, who said: ‘Posting yourself weeping over illegal immigrant criminals being deported is a new level of absurd celebrity narcissism.’

Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan even responded to the video, saying the administration has ‘no apologies’ and that anyone who doesn’t like it should take it up with Congress.

‘We’re gonna make our community safer,’ Homan said on Fox News.

‘It is all for the good of this nation. And we’re gonna keep going. No apologies. We’re moving forward.’

He went on to deny that children are being targeted and doubled down on his assertion that the administration is working to deport illegal migrants with criminal records.

‘I don’t think we’ve arrested any families. We’ve arrested public safety threats and national security threats, bottom-line,’ he said.

‘President Trump won the election on this one issue – securing our border and saving lives. What happened on our southern border in the last four years is the biggest national security threat our county has seen, at least in my lifetime.’

Megyn Kelly also slammed the Emilia Perez actress for putting on a display of crocodile tears, claiming she wanted to push an agenda that her fans disagreed with.

‘She deleted it after her fans taught her that the majority of the country stands behind these policies, but I’m sure she was shocked to get any blowback whatsoever,’ Kelly said.

‘She’s unwell. Obviously, this is an unwell person… And by the way, anybody who takes their phone works up in tears and posts a video of themselves crying into their phone is sick. That’s a sick person.

‘Tears happen. They tend to happen privately. If they happen publicly. I think you should quickly move on and recover, but I don’t understand the person who works it and tries to squeeze out more tears to make themselves look extra sad. “I’m really sad. I know I have hundreds of millions [followers], but I hate this country.”’

Amid the backlash, Gomez deleted her video, writing: ‘Apparently it’s not ok to show empathy for people.’

But she has previously claimed she feels ‘a responsibility to use’ her platform ‘to be a voice for people who are too afraid to speak.’

She produced a 2019 Netflix documentary, Living Undocumented, which chronicled the lives of undocumented families in the United States.

At the time, the former Disney Channel star, who was born in Texas, opened up about her family’s own immigration story, which began in the 1970s when her aunt crossed the border from Mexico to America hidden in the back of a truck.

Her paternal grandparents, Ricardo and Mary, followed their daughter and, once in the US, they welcomed Selena’s father, who is also named Ricardo.

Her mother, Mandy Teefey, is also a US citizen.
