The World Happiness Report, a collaborative effort between the University of Oxford, Gallup, and the United Nations, is an annual survey. Interviewing approximately 1,000 individuals in about 140 countries either in person or by phone, the 2024 report unveiled predictable results. Published recently, the report indicated that the United States had dropped to its lowest position ever in the list of the happiest countries to reside in. The evaluation covered the years 2022 to 2024, spanning the Biden administration, with the U.S. securing the 24th spot. In contrast, Finland clinched the top rank for the eighth consecutive year, with an average score of 7.736 out of 10 when its residents were questioned about their quality of life.
