100 Days in, I'm Grateful Butler, PA Didn’t Go As Planned

During the first 100 days of the Trump administration, unprecedented efficiency and productivity have been observed from the executive branch. The relentless efforts of the president to steer the country in the right direction have been truly noteworthy. President Trump’s success can be assessed through various lenses.

Firstly, the successful formation of President Trump’s Cabinet marked a significant milestone. Initial uncertainties surrounding the commitment of the GOP Senate were gradually overshadowed by the diligence of key figures, such as Senator Thune. The confirmation of crucial nominations like Secretary Kennedy at HHS, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence bolstered the administration’s strength.

Moreover, the exceptional performance of the White House staff under the guidance of Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has been commendable. The unity and coherence within the White House leadership team, a stark contrast to past disarray, are largely credited to Wiles’ adept leadership. Instances of leaks and internal conflicts have been scarce, indicative of the team’s unwavering commitment to achieving the administration’s objectives above personal recognition.

Third, the agencies themselves.  In conjunction with strong Cabinet-level leadership, the agencies have been on a tear. I knew President Trump was going to secure the border, but I did not realize the job would be nearly finished 100 days into his second term. Border Czar Tom Homan said it this way on Fox and Friends this morning:

“He did in seven weeks what Joe Biden couldn’t – or wouldn’t  – do in four years.”

Border crossings are currently down 99 percent. Trump was right—all we needed was a new president.
