A plane reportedly crashed on a street near Roosevelt Mall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Friday night, igniting nearby cars and homes in flames.
The crash happened at about 6:30 p.m. after a plane carrying two people took off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport.
A video shows the plane loudly crashing in the distance, with a burst of light covering the area.
Two people were confirmed on board. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Crews are battling multiple house fires resulting from the crash near the 2900 block of Cottman Avenue.Â
Just recently, there was a crash involving an American Airlines passenger plane and an Army Black Hawk Helicopter near Reagan National Airport. Tragically, this incident resulted in the loss of 67 lives.
