Two workers at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority in Washington, D.C., have been accused of disclosing official airport footage capturing the Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter colliding with American Airlines Flight 5342 near Washington Reagan National Airport. The incident occurred as the aircraft plunged into the Potomac River last week.
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority revealed that both individuals have faced charges for producing an unauthorized copy of airport records concerning the plane collision on January 29. It is reported that the suspects shared the video with CNN, as disclosed by FOX 5 D.C.
Authorities arrested and charged Mohamed Lamine Mbengue, 21, of Rockville, Maryland, with computer trespass, a misdemeanor, on Jan. 31.
Upon further investigation, authorities arrested and charged Jonathan Savoy, 45, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, with the same crime.

One of the employees, Savoy, was released following a summons by a magistrate. On the other hand, Mbengue was taken into custody at the Arlington County Adult Detention Center and released on his own recognizance, according to a statement provided by MWAA to Fox News Digital.
