Alabama mother charged with the death of her 2 children, 1 year old's body still missing

The criminal complaint revealed that Wendy Pamela Bailey, a 22-year-old mother from Alabama, had informed investigators that her one-year-old toddler was dead and that the child’s body was being stored in a shed. This shocking revelation came to light following an accident that resulted in the tragic deaths of Steven Bradley Collins, 40, and Ryleigh Collins, 2.

The circumstances surrounding the case are deeply troubling, as authorities work to unravel the details of this heartbreaking situation. The discovery of the missing toddler’s body has added a new dimension of tragedy to an already devastating incident.

A third child, Kahleb Rowan Collins, 1, was unaccounted for. 

Details of the case continue to emerge as investigators delve deeper into the events leading up to the child’s death and the subsequent actions taken by the mother. The community has been left reeling from the series of events, grappling with the loss of multiple lives and the harrowing nature of the situation.

They also believe that Bailey knew the body had been put in the storage shed.

In the complaint, photos allegedly show some of the abuse through images of the child bloodied and hanging from a rope and of him lying on the floor covered in bruises.

Officials also say that he sent messages saying, “He want move” and “I’m so sorry” and finally “He moving.” and that Bailey replied, “He just looks wore out and tired and hopefully that’s all.”

“His body has not been recovered, although law enforcement teams are still actively gathering information and searching for his remains,” officials said.
