What Americans' Attitudes About Christmas Celebrations in Public Schools Say About Us

Christmas is just around the corner, and recently, I came across a fascinating poll result regarding Christmas celebrations in public schools that is sure to lift anyone’s spirits during this festive season.

In a recent survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports, it was revealed that despite various attempts by more liberal factions to stifle Christian expressions in public settings, the majority of Americans are perfectly fine with the idea of Christmas festivities in public schools.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 68% of American Adults believe Christmas should be celebrated in public schools. Only 17% disagree, while 16% are not sure.

That’s right–68 percent of those polled answered in the affirmative, when asked, “Should Christmas be celebrated in public schools?”

The survey, taken nationwide of 1,346 American adults, was conducted December 4-5 and 8, 2024, with the margin of sampling error, +/- 2 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
