Andy Cohen just gave a hopeful update about The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Bravo fans have been worried about the franchise’s future ever since RHONJ Season 14 finished airing last August. With longtime stars/estranged sisters-in-law Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice refusing to film with one another, Cohen (an executive producer on the show) has teased the possibility of a new cast for Season 15, even going as far as to say the Season 14 finale felt like a “series finale.” Some have also questioned if the show would be going off the air altogether after Cohen compared it to the upcoming Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
But on this morning’s episode of The View, Cohen — who stopped by the Hot Topics table to promote BravoCon 2025 — shared an exciting update about the beloved franchise.
“We are doing casting with Jersey as well,” he said. “It was really on a deep pause and we are actively there casting and kind of looking at the future of what that will be. It’s a great franchise and we love it. I just have to reiterate that.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t the only series that has Bravo fans in a tizzy. The Real Housewives of New York City, which got an entirely new cast in Season 14, was recently rumored to be going off the air as the network figured out what to do next. Cohen has since shut down the report, and he confirmed on The View that some of the current cast would “absolutely” be returning for Season 16 along with some newbies.
“It’s not over,” he said. “We are between seasons where we typically do a little casting, which is what’s happening now and we’re very close.”
While the Bravo icon is not an executive producer on Summer House, he also said he’d like to see Lindsay Hubbard and Paige DeSorbo continue their reality TV journeys — even if it’s not on the show that made them household names.
“I’m not an EP of Summer House so I really just watch as a fan,” he said. “These are people that we have fallen in love with and I think that they will continue to evolve in front of Bravo cameras in one way or another.”
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
