The 2025 Golden Globes have kicked off amidst a mix of glamor and fashion flubs as both A-listers shone on the red carpet while some missed the mark with their outfit choices.
Kicking off the first of the season, the annual awards show is set to celebrate some of the most popular TV shows and movies this year.
Taking place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, the event is being helmed by comedian Nikki Glaser, known for her viral Tom Brady roast from the previous year.
The nominations this year encompass a range of popular works including Challengers, Deadpool & Wolverine, Twisters, Wicked, and The Brutalist.
Among the actors up for awards are Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo for their respective roles in Wicked, while Selena Gomez is nominated for her role in film Emilia Pérez.Â
Other names include Timothée Chalamet, who is expected to be joined by his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, as well as Denzel Washington, who is up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture as he took on the role of Macrinus in Gladiator II.Â
