He’s said this city has welcomed him back with laughs and applause.
“Returning to this place feels like a warm welcome, like a celebratory victory lap. Having the event take place so near to my home and having my family and friends attend makes it exceptionally meaningful to me,” expressed Fane.
Fane graduated from West Aurora High School and the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.

“We have a robust local theater scene, with intimate venues where we perform in small spaces, sometimes improvising on the spot, really immersing ourselves in the art for the sheer love of it,” Fane explained. “Whether it’s performing for an audience of 50 in Rogers Park or 100 in Wicker Park, those experiences are where you truly sharpen your skills. It’s where you gain valuable insights and really hone your craft.”
Fane said he was a huge fan of “Titanic.”
“I can vividly recall a particular memory of visiting Borders books and being drawn to their music section. You could sample five tracks in-store, and it was there that I first encountered the song ‘My Heart Will Go On.’ It resonated with me on an emotional level, leaving a lasting impact on me during my formative years,” he reminisced.
Fane takes on a role that everybody thinks of as Leonardo DiCaprio.
“I play him with a little more glamour, a little more glitter perhaps, more skipping. I play him with as much joy and humor and verve for life as I possibly can,” Fane said. “We need joy right now, and this show is a love and joy bomb incarnate. And I think this is a repeat show because you’re going to catch new things every time. We hope to be here for a long time, and we hope to have people back.”
