“Authorities Issue Warning on Increased Threat to Jewish Communities Following Recent Attacks”

The FBI and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have come together to issue a joint public service announcement raising awareness about an increased threat targeting Israeli and Jewish communities in the United States. This warning comes as a response to a series of concerning incidents.

The announcement highlights potential public safety concerns regarding ongoing threats during the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.

One such incident occurred recently in Boulder, Colorado when a 45-year-old Egyptian national named Mohamed Sabry Soliman was apprehended. Soliman was found in possession of 18 Molotov cocktails which he allegedly prepared before heading to Boulder. Upon reaching the city, he targeted a gathering of peaceful pro-Israel demonstrators who were participating in an event called Run for Their Lives, organized to show support for Israeli hostages.

During the event in Boulder’s Pearl Street area, Soliman reportedly shouted “Free Palestine” before throwing two Molotov cocktails into the crowd. Fortunately, law enforcement acted swiftly, and Soliman was arrested shortly after the incident took place. The authorities are treating this incident with utmost seriousness given its implications for public safety and community relations.

Shortly after being taken into custody by security at the museum, Rodriguez was seen on video shouting, “Free, free Palestine.”

“The ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict may motivate other violent extremists and hate crime perpetrators with similar grievances to conduct violence against Jewish and Israeli communities and their supporters,” the FBI and DHS said in their joint announcement. 

“Foreign terrorist organizations also may try to exploit narratives related to the conflict to inspire attacks in the U.S. 

“The FBI and DHS therefore urge the public to remain vigilant and to report any threats of violence or suspicious activity to law enforcement.”
