Ben Affleck cut a handsome figure while attending The Accountant 2 premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday.Â
The leading man, 52, looked suave in a navy suit as he continued to show off his recently dyed hair and beard.Â
The actor has been sporting noticeably darker hair, while his beard also seemed to have lost its salt-and-pepper character.
The sequel to The Accountant focuses on Ben’s role as Christian Wolff and his brother Brax, portrayed by Jon Bernthal. Christian, a brilliant forensic accountant with autism, becomes involved in solving the murder of a treasury agent.
It takes place eight years after the events that took place in the first installment of The Accountant.Â
The appearance comes after Ben made a candid confession about flirting following his divorce with Jennifer Lopez, 55.
Despite having dated prominent figures like Jennifer Garner, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ana de Armas, Shauna Sexton, and Jennifer Lopez, the actor surprisingly confessed to feeling awkward around women.
Recently divorced from Jennifer Lopez after a two-and-a-half-year marriage, Ben shared his personal struggles with flirting, drawing parallels between his own experiences and his character Christian’s social ineptitude.
Of his character, Ben told Page Six recently: ‘Here’s a guy who’s trying to figure out — he wants to have a relationship with a woman, he’s trying to figure out how to do that, like, how to put yourself out there.
‘You know, he’s not comfortable extending himself. He doesn’t really know how to flirt exactly. He’s not comfortable.’
Then he related the feeling to the general feeling that most people have – while shockingly including himself – as he said ‘like so many of us.’
Ben went on to explain: ‘It’s not easy for anyone figuring out relationships, particularly at the very early part, where you’re trying to gauge, “What does this signal mean? Is this person looking at me? Do they like me? Am I going to humiliate myself if I go over there?”‘
He did go on to reveal that he was proud of his character for putting himself out there by line-dancing while on the date which he said was ‘kind of a lovely thing.’
Ben went on to joke: ‘I probably am not going to get a lot more demands for my line-dancing work [in movies]. I don’t know. The phone hasn’t rung yet.’
Affleck also reportedly recently told a friend that his ultimate movie star crush is Angelina Jolie, who was once married to his old buddy, Brad Pitt.
The brunette bombshell has said she would prefer to concentrate on being a mother to her six children. However, a source told Daily Mail that had not deterred his interest.
‘Ben said that he always thought that she was very hot and has admired how she has navigated her career, he has called her smart,’ the source said.
‘He also thinks it’s pretty cool that she has directed films too, something he has done many times with The Town and Argo.’
‘They would certainly have a lot to talk about over dinner.’
While at the premiere on Wednesday, Ben was joined by Jon, 48, who plays his brother Brax.
The Punisher actor looked dapper in a black suit with a white t-shirt underneath.
Meanwhile Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen, 50, made her red carpet debut with former basketball player Jeff Coby, 31, at the event.
The duo have reportedly been dating since January.
The reality TV beauty flashed her toned legs in a black dress with a sheer skirt.
The romance comes more than a year after her break up with Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, 34.
Larsa was previously married to NBA legend Scottie Pippen, 59, from 1997 until 2021. The pair share four kids.
The Accountant 2 will release on April 25, 2025.
The film also stars J.K. Simmons, Danielle Pineda, Grant Harvey and Cynthia Addai-Robinson.
The Accountant 2 is directed by Gavin O’Connor and written by Bill Dubuque – both of whom who also served as director and writer for The Accountant.
Ben produced The Accountant 2 – along with childhood friend and actor Matt Damon, in addition to Lynette Howell Taylor and Mark Williams.
The original film was first released in 2016 – with Ben, Jon, and J.K starring in the film.
Anna Kendrick, Jeffrey Tambor and John Lithgow were also in the first film.
