Baby, It's Cold Inside—Biden-Kamala Relationship Said to Be 'Frosty' After Dem Electoral Wipeout

So, during a meeting with congressional Republicans shortly after his 2008 election victory, the new president expressed confidence. Although his statement was accurate, it diverged from his campaign theme of unity: “There are no red states or blue states, just the United States.”

He went on to spend eight years proving his unifying rhetoric meant nothing.

These words regarding “consequences” have now returned to trouble the Democrats. They are experiencing losses in elections and facing disarray and discord as they search for someone other than themselves to blame for their failures.

While I am not a supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris, it must be acknowledged that she inherited a difficult situation, thanks to President Joe Biden. Despite the fact that he is still the president of the United States, it often seems otherwise.

According to the Wall Street Journal, however, there’s no love lost between the two parties:

President Biden and Jill Biden’s relationship with Vice President Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff has been rocky after the vice president lost the election to President-elect Donald Trump, according to a new report.

The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that the “postelection rapport” between the Bidens and the Harris family has sometimes been “frosty,” in private, citing people familiar with the relationship.

Harris took the president’s place at the top of the Democratic ticket after a weeks-long pressure campaign forced Biden to drop out of the race in July. The president was lauded as a hero and a patriot for dropping out, but he’s taken blame in recent weeks for not getting out sooner in the wake of President-elect Donald Trump’s victory.

America said, “No thanks”:

The electorate said, “enough”:
