Scandal-hit Blake Lively just can’t catch a break.
As the contentious legal battle continues between the actress and her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni, reports have surfaced about another feud involving Lively, this time with a fan at a Texas hotel.
Kaityln Cooper, a 27-year-old from Houston, was thrilled to find out that she was staying at the same upscale hotel as the 37-year-old Gossip Girl actress on Saturday, March 8.
Upon learning that Lively was also present at The Hotel 1928 in Waco, Cooper, who was on a weekend getaway with her mother, eagerly waited in the lobby hoping to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood star.
The Daily Mail has reached out to both Lively and the hotel for comment and has not heard back despite multiple requests.Â
Lively had been in Austin the day before for the SXSW film festival, promoting her new movie Another Simple Favor alongside actress Anna Kendrick, with whom she is also alleged to have bad blood.

Blake Lively has found herself in more hot water as a fan has made a series of shocking allegations about the actress following an icy encounter in a hotel lobby

Kaityln Cooper, 27, from Houston, had been delighted to discover that she was staying in the same luxury hotel as the 37-year-old Gossip Girl star on Saturday March 8Â

Cooper said that after the staff at Hotel 1928 (seen) let it slip that the Gossip Girl alum was there, she eagerly waited in the lobby
And when Lively emerged in the lobby from the elevator bank, Cooper whipped out her iPhone and captured the moment on video – really, she says, so she could brag about it later to her friends.
But, according to Cooper, what started as an innocent and – surely for most A-listers like Lively – an entirely ordinary celebrity encounter, quickly turned into a nightmare that Cooper says left her ‘disturbed’.

The clip Cooper recorded appears to show Lively entering the lobby in a white blouse and jeans. The actress covered her face with her hand
Among her many claims is the allegation that Lively retaliated to being filmed by following Cooper and her mother when they left the hotel the following morning and even noted down her car’s license plate number.
Cooper also claims that someone from Lively’s team later tracked down her social media account, viewing her Instagram stories.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Cooper told the whole story.
‘We caught wind that there was a VIP staying at the hotel from the front desk people when we walked in. They were chatting with each other and there was just this energy in the air that something was going on,’ Cooper explains. ‘[A female staff member] told us if we hung out and stuck around we might see this person, so obviously that sparked our interest as it would for anybody.’
Cooper says she and her mom had dinner at the hotel on the Saturday and it was their server who identified the VIP guest as Lively – who was apparently visiting for a meeting with Joanna Gaines, the interior designer who owns the hotel.
‘We ended up finishing dinner and went back down to the lobby and sat in the lounge area, just hanging out. And shortly after that, [Lively] walked in,’ Cooper recalls.

Texas-native Cooper said she recorded the moment to show her friends

‘I heard [someone say], ‘Hi,’ and it was a woman’s voice,’ Kaitlyn said of Blake approaching her the next day. ‘I looked up, and see [Blake]. She’s got her phone up [like she’s recording]’
‘I just pulled up my phone and started recording a very brief clip. It was nothing exciting,’ she says. ‘I want[ed] to show my friends.’
Cooper’s video shows Lively entering the lobby wearing a white blouse and jeans.
Realizing she’s being filmed, Lively covers her face with her hand as she walked alongside a member of hotel staff and a security guard.
‘When she walked in [to the lobby], she was super loud. Her voice was extremely recognizable,’ Cooper said. ‘I think she said hi to the two people at the front desk. She looked at us. I believe she spotted us [filming her].’
Cooper said she then she didn’t see Blake again for the rest of the evening, though she did spot the actress’s four children being accompanied by what looked like a sitter.
Then, the next morning, as Cooper was loading up her car and preparing to leave, she says Blake approached her outside the hotel.
‘We were loading up our car and I heard [someone say], “Hi,” and it was a woman’s voice,’ Cooper said.
‘I looked up, and see [Blake]. She’s got her phone up [like she’s recording me]. Out of instinct, I just said hi back, because what do you say?’

Cooper claimed Lively didn’t say anything further, but circled her car – holding up her phone as if she was videotaping, and at one point ‘aimed’ the camera ‘towards her license plate’

Cooper says the whole encounter has left her ‘disturbed’
Cooper claimed that Lively didn’t say anything further, but circled her car – holding up her phone as if she was videotaping the encounter, and at one point even ‘aiming’ the camera ‘towards her license plate.’
‘I was really caught off guard. She then handed her phone off to her security guy and he did another lap around the passenger side and then they both went back in [to the hotel],’ Cooper said. ‘We were just confused about what was happening.’
On the drive back to Houston, a shaken Cooper said she posted a few videos about what had happened to her Instagram story.
Almost immediately after she had posted them, she claims that ‘strange views’ started coming in, including a Hotel 1928 employee and a woman whom she believes to be a part of Lively’s team.
Cooper provided the Daily Mail with screenshots which appeared to show these accounts viewing her story.
‘It’s very paranoid behavior,’ Cooper said. ‘[I think they were] looking out to see if I would post the video of her.’
Two days later, Cooper opened up about the ordeal in a series of TikTok videos – which, this time, she said led to harassment from strangers.
She says anonymized ‘troll accounts’ began – again – viewing her Instagram stories.
‘Some of the responses from complete strangers online have been so harsh,’ she said, adding that the whole debacle has left her feeling ‘disturbed.’
‘When the initial interaction took place outside with Blake and her security guard approaching us unexpectedly, we felt completely caught off guard and confused,’ she says. ‘Once the [Instagram] stories views from her team, hotel staff and the harassment accounts began popping up, it then became disturbing.’
