Attorney General Pam Bondi cautioned Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) following the congresswoman’s remarks to her followers expressing a desire for Tesla CEO Elon Musk to face repercussions.
Bondi discussed the case with Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo, highlighting the prosecution of three suspects believed to have used Molotov cocktails to vandalize Tesla vehicles and charging stations.
The AG then pivoted to Crockett’s seeming dog whistle calls to violence.
Bondi emphasized, “As an elected official, she must choose her words wisely because Elon Musk is not going anywhere, and we will be diligent in safeguarding all Tesla owners across the nation.”

Crockett raised eyebrows in a video to the “Tesla Takedown” movement urging the self-described “peaceful protest movement” to move on Elon Musk as an early birthday present.
“On March 29, it’s my birthday,” the giddy congresswoman said. “All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.”
She added that “there is only one language that the people in charge understand right now, and that language is money.”
