CHICAGO (WLS) — The ninth annual Chicago Rum Fest will take place on April 26 at Logan Square Auditorium, attracting rum enthusiasts and industry professionals nationwide.
Set at 2539 N. Kedzie Blvd., this year’s event guarantees a unique experience filled with a variety of premium rum selections, guest speakers, and entertainment.

A new addition for this edition is the DaiquiriMANIA session, catering to those interested in cocktails and seeking to expand their knowledge of rum. Scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m., this session will showcase a lively reinterpretation of the classic daiquiri cocktail infused with a contemporary twist and accompanied by retro music vibes. The aim is to unite rum aficionados, cocktail connoisseurs, and music lovers for an evening of delightful drinks and memorable tunes.

Also a highlight this year, discover the rich history of Puerto Rican rum with “Puerto Rico Rum-Clopedia: A Brief History of Puerto Rico’s Rum Industry” by Federico Hernandez.
