On April 14th, the U.S. Army Reserve reported an issue where photos on a leadership board appeared to have been deliberately turned around so that the leaders’ images were facing the wall. An investigation was promptly initiated upon discovery of this vandalism.
They described the incident as “vandalism.”
The official X page of the Reserve stated that the Fort McCoy leadership team and the Army Reserve were not aware of this act of vandalism initially. Upon being notified, the leadership at Fort McCoy took immediate steps to rectify the situation.

The Rapid Response team for the Department of Defense quickly addressed the situation by restoring the photos on the command wall within a short span of a few hours. They also confirmed that a thorough investigation into the incident would be conducted.
It didn’t seem like it would take long to discover that somebody at the base had simply rearranged the images as a form of protest.
