Embrace the concept of “fika,” a cherished coffee break ritual, with the A Coffee & Cocoa Crawl featuring scrumptious offerings from local businesses. Take your pick from two routes starting at the Swedish American Museum. Additionally, don’t miss the Great Andersonville Puzzle Exchange, where you can trade puzzles and even participate in a friendly competition, all happening at the Swedish American Museum.

Galentine’s Market – Lincolnshire Marriott Resort

Join the celebration of female friendships at the Galentine’s Market held at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort in Lincolnshire. Featuring 70 talented artisans showcasing jewelry, fashion, home goods, and art, this indoor market offers a range of creative activities to explore. While browsing for the perfect gift or treating yourself, enjoy sipping on martinis and hot cocoa. Additionally, $2 from each ticket will go towards supporting the WINGS Program, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting domestic violence survivors.

Black Child Book Fair – James Jordan Boys & Girls Club 2102 W. Monroe

It’s the Sixth Annual Black Child Book Fair taking place at the James Jordan Boys & Girls Club. This event STARTED IN Chicago in 2019 and now travels nationwide by promoting literacy among students. Featuring dozens of African American authors, the fair includes readings, giveaways, and other activities… hundreds of Chicago-area students invited to participate.
