Who Won ‘Beast Games’? What To Know About The Winner Of The $10 Million Coin Toss

After ten intense weeks of competition, the champion of the Beast Games was revealed yesterday during a highly emotional finale streamed on Prime Video. But before we reveal the ultimate victor, let’s delve into all the exciting developments.

The episode commenced with the highly anticipated $10 million coin toss. Player 974 opted for tails and luck was on their side as the coin indeed landed on tails. The remaining six contestants, who had formed a tight-knit bond, rejoiced with hugs and cheers as they hoisted Player 974 in celebration.

Episode 10 mirrored the commencement of Episode 1, kicking off with a challenging trial on pillars. The order in which players were eliminated from the tower in Episode 9 determined their selection of platform. Each contestant took turns aiming a ball into an opponent’s tube. Successfully landing the ball in someone else’s tube led to their elimination. This process continued until two players were left standing. Player 424 was the first to exit the game, followed by Player 937—both strong contenders for the title.

For the next challenge, players pressed a button that created a pattern on the ground. Whoever chose to let go of their button had to walk the pattern from memory. If they failed, they would get eliminated. If they succeeded, they would get to choose someone else to eliminate. Player 947 volunteered to take a chance, and the first tile she stepped on was the incorrect tile. Player 831 tried to help her before taking the wrong step, but she didn’t trust him enough to listen.

Next, MrBeast revealed that he surveyed the top 50 contestants to see who they wanted to eliminate from the game. But before he revealed who it was, he offered the top three the opportunity to self-eliminate for one million dollars. Player 974 believed his number was in the envelope, so he accepted the $1 million—still, a massive sum to leave the game with. Shockingly, if Player 974 didn’t take the bribe, Player 830 would have been eliminated.

In an emotional scene, the top two cried to the camera about why they don’t just want but need the money. Player 830 wants to start a non-profit, while Player 831 wants to find a cure for a seemingly incurable disease. (Also can we take a second to acknowledge…the remaining two player numbers were in sequence?!)

The final game is simple. Nine briefcases sat on a table, and one had a $10 million check inside of it. While one person turned around, the other shuffled briefcases around. The back and forth banter between the top two is so uncomfortable, it makes you cringe. A few minutes prior, they were friends. Next thing you know, they’re trying to read each other to figure out which briefcase has the check inside. All pleasantries were disregarded—after all, millions of dollars were on the line.

On the first try (!), Player 831 (Jeffrey Randall Allen) came out victorious, taking home the money for him and his seven-year-old son, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder called  Creatine Transporter Deficiency (CTD). In a game of chance, Player 831 accomplished what seemed like the impossible. He walks away the largest cash prize winner in entertainment industry—and one step closer towards creating a better life for his kid.

According to the Columbus Dispatch, the 44-year-old Allen currently lives in California but was raised in Ohio. He graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In his audition video for the series, he pledged to use his winnings to fund clinical trials and research into CTD.
