Elon Trolls Media at Cabinet Meeting, Lays Out Some of the Savings and Changes DOGE Is Bringing

The way the left freaks out over Elon Musk is so disingenuous.

The richest man globally is dedicating his time and resources to aid the country’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), facing many challenges and criticisms along the way. Instead of appreciating his efforts to reduce wastage and inefficiencies, false accusations and negative narratives are being spread about him.

Some individuals on the left are attempting to drive a wedge between Elon Musk and former President Trump, possibly aiming to sever Musk’s support for Trump. However, their efforts to create a divide between the two influential figures have not been successful thus far.

Here was one poor attempt that got busted by Community Notes and reality.

Of course, Elon was at the Cabinet meeting on Thursday. Not only that, but he had a little fun trolling the media in the process.

He had a little laugh at that.

Some of them did notice it, including a Fox Business reporter.

Musk also had some important things to present that, of course, most of the liberal media wasn’t going to focus on as much — the savings DOGE has achieved. It’s normal to have speakers at Cabinet meetings, and he was there to bring them the positive news.

$150 billion, and this is just what they have found so far. There will likely be more savings before and after fiscal year 2026 since they’re stopping the expenditures, but Musk was just talking about that year. He mentioned how some of the waste was “absurd”- like the incredible findings about unemployment being paid out for people who hadn’t even been born yet.

He explained that all they had to do to find the waste and fraud was move in any direction because it was such a “target rich environment.” He said their efforts were going to make things more “sensible,” and to provide “better services” for the American people. President Trump then praised the work of the DOGE team and said he hoped they would stick around.
