Donald Trump has been appointed Time magazine’s Person of the Year once again, but Jimmy Kimmel lamented one unfortunate aspect of that news.
During his opening monologue on Live, Kimmel joked that Trump won’t have anyone to enjoy the honor of being Time’s Person of the Year.
“Sadly, there’s no one left to roll it up and spank him with it,” Kimmel joked. “Maybe Elon [Musk] will do it for him. I don’t know.”
Kimmel mentioned a scandalous incident that arose during an inquiry into Donald Trump’s rumored affair with former adult film star Stormy Daniels. As per a report by Mother Jones, a political consultant working with Daniels revealed in a 2009 email that Daniels claimed Trump made her spend three hours watching Shark Week with him and another time asked her to spank him with a Forbes magazine.
Who says romance is dead?
For months now, Kimmel has been playfully teasing Trump and Elon Musk’s emerging friendship, especially as the tech mogul has become one of Trump’s main supporters and confidants in the final stages of his campaign.
In fact, it began to feel like Musk was spotted with Trump more often than First Lady Melania Trump was.
In a previous episode of Live, Kimmel quipped that Musk has become so intertwined in Trump’s life that he’s even choosing outfits for him and applying his bronzing cream.
“Cute couple,” he joked.
He then added that Melania should “look out” for Donald’s new companion.
“Trump’s got a new squeeze named Elonia Musk,” he joked.
But the pair haven’t always gotten along. Kimmel has called them out several times on the show for openly criticizing each other on social media, despite buddying up in the last year.
“And now they’re really good pals!” Kimmel said. “Isn’t that something?”
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
