Recent testimonies and multiple accounts have revealed sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) throughout the country, coinciding with the public’s focus on reported drone sightings in the past few weeks.
Luiz Elizondo, the ex-leader of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program at the Defense Department, along with other observers, spoke before Congress last month regarding a supposed government entity that has been “concealing the fact that we are not alone in the universe.”
“I am of the opinion that the American people are capable of handling the truth. Furthermore, I firmly believe that truth is something the entire world is entitled to,” Elizondo stated, emphasizing the need for Congress to establish laws that protect whistleblowers who may be hesitant to reveal information.
The White House, in coordination with the FBI and state and local officials, examined roughly 5,000 sightings, and their analysis concludes that “lawful, legal, commercial hobbyist and even law enforcement aircraft activity” is responsible for the sightings, Kirby said about the assessment.
In a recent statement by the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Defense, the agencies said that while they “recognize the concern,” there is no evidence that the drones are “anomalous” or a threat to national security or public safety.
