Just because the murder has been solved doesn’t mean we can’t come back for more.
Adam’s murder mystery in Season 1 of “The Better Sister” on Prime Video has been solved, but fans are intrigued by the complex relationship between Chloe (Jessica Biel) and Nicky (Elizabeth Banks), sparking speculation about a potential Season 2.
**Spoilers ahead for The Better Sister Season 1 on Prime Video**
Will there be a second season? Could the sisters become entangled in another criminal plot, struggling to evade capture? The possibility remains uncertain, but let’s explore what information we currently have about Season 2 of “The Better Sister.”
As of now, there has been no official confirmation of a second season for Prime Video’s “The Better Sister.” The series is categorized as a limited series and is adapted from Alafair Burke’s book of the same name, which lacks a sequel, indicating that a follow-up season is unlikely. However, in the world of entertainment, surprises can happen, so we can never entirely rule out the potential for future episodes.
Season 1 of The Better Sister ends with the discovery that Nicky is the person responsible for killing Adam. In the final episode, it’s revealed that she pulled out a switchblade during a physical altercation with her ex, stabbing him multiple times as they argued about his abuse and manipulation of her and her sister. Ultimately, Chloe is the one to cover up her sister’s crime, however, framing Adam’s boss, Bill Braddock (Matthew Modine) for the murder upon learning about his involvement in a human trafficking ring for labor purposes. She plants the switchblade in his office and passes along incriminating evidence to the FBI to ensure his swift arrest.
In total, there are eight episodes in Season 1 of Prime Video’s The Better Sister. Each episode is roughly one hour long, making it a short limited series.
Aside from Biel, Banks, Modine, and Stoll, the show also stars Maxwell Acee Donovan as Ethan, the son of Nicky and Adam, Kim Dickens as Detective Nan Guidry, Gloria Reuben as Michelle Sander, Gabriel Sloyer as Jake Rodriguez, and Bobby Naderi as Detective Matt Bowen.
All eight episodes of the limited series hit Prime Video on Thursday, May 29.
The entire first season of The Better Sister is currently streaming on Prime Video.
