The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is looking into an incident where the crew of a National Guard Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter reported being targeted by a green laser near Hector International Airport in North Dakota.
FAA officials said the incident happened at about 9 p.m. local time on Thursday.
No injuries were reported, according to the agency.

In March, the FAA made the decision to permanently limit non-essential helicopter activities near DCA, which included separating helicopter and fixed-wing traffic and closing specific helicopter routes as per the recommendations from the National Transportation Safety Board.
Furthermore, the FAA also put a stop to simultaneous use of certain runways and restricted the use of visual separation to only a few helicopter operations conducted by the Coast Guard, Marines, and Park Police outside restricted airspace.
The National Guard did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
