Rumors are swirling that Taylor Swift may be engaged to her boyfriend Travis Kelce, after eagle-eyed fans spotted a curious detail in pictures from what seemed to be her recent 35th birthday celebration.
The speculation began on Wednesday when Swift’s friend Brittany Mahomes, who is married to NFL star Patrick Mahomes and also happens to be Kelce’s teammate on the Kansas City Chiefs, posted previously unseen photos from the Eras Tour-themed party held the previous week.
In several images, Swift can be seen enjoying a drink while mingling with Mahomes, their fellow Chiefs WAG Lyndsay Bell, and Swift’s good friend Ashley Avignone.
After closely examining the party shots, one Swiftie, who goes by @lizpwoods on Instagram, pointed out that the singer’s left ring finger looked ‘blurred.’
This sparked a wild theory that Swift may have purposely ‘edited out’ an engagement ring as not to reveal news that Kelce had finally popped the question.
The sleuthing continued as fans also noticed Swift was wearing a red friendship bracelet on her right arm that appeared to be an homage to her NFL star boyfriend.

A deep zoom on the bracelet revealed five white letter charms, two of which looked to be a side-by-side ‘C’ and ‘E.’
This was enough for fans to believe that the charms spelled out ‘KELCE.’
‘Hey. Um, guys? Do you feel like the pics with her hand are… blurred? Or am I hormanl,’ asked @lizpwoods via Instagram Story on Wednesday.
She then proceeded to zoom-in on each photo of Swift holding up a red cocktail with her left hand.
The fan pointed out that the area where a ring would sit differed slightly in tone from the rest of Swift’s finger.
Other fans began chiming in, with many choosing to believe that Swift is now an engaged woman.
Meanwhile, others questioned why Swift, if she is actually engaged, wouldn’t ‘take off’ her ring while taking photos.
In a screenshot of an iMessage exchange shared to her Instagram Story, @lizpwoods speculated that Kelce may have popped the question during the celebration.
‘Because wearing an engagement ring after getting engaged at a party celebrating you sounds like the most perfect night ever,’ she wrote.

Swift, who wrapped her record-breaking Eras Tour on December 8 after nearly two years on the road, is said to be ‘looking forward’ to spending the holidays with Kelce, according to the outlet.
