Local authorities in Florida shared a surprising video showing a woman throwing a brick through her ex-boyfriend’s window. Initially, the woman denied her involvement in the incident but later confessed after being arrested for her actions.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office posted a video on Facebook where 34-year-old Sabrina Coyne can be seen throwing a “first date” brick through a window in Bonita Springs. The footage, which was a combination of doorbell camera and police bodycam recordings, was titled, “Woman throws brick through window – ‘It wasn’t me.'”
Sheriff Carmine Marceno from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office talked to Fox News Digital about the incident, emphasizing the seriousness of domestic violence cases. He highlighted the unpredictable and potentially dangerous nature of such situations, stressing the importance of a zero-tolerance policy to ensure safety and order. Marceno reflected on the intensity of emotions in crimes of passion and domestic violence, acknowledging the need for law enforcement to intervene and restore peace.

Coyne was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and throwing a deadly missile into an occupied dwelling, police said. She was later released after posting bond, according to Marceno and online records with the sheriff’s office.
“No matter what’s going on … take a breath … cool minds prevail because we’re not going to tolerate domestic violence,” Marceno said. “That one snapshot in time could define many more days, nights, months and years down the road.”
