Bodycam video from the Waterbury Police Department captures Kimberly Sullivan, the suspected child abuser from Connecticut, denying that her stepson, who was reportedly confined in a storage closet in their house for two decades, was ever imprisoned there.
The footage, obtained by Fox News Digital, shows one of Sullivan’s two daughters arriving at the location shortly after authorities responded on Feb. 17, when her 32-year-old stepson set a fire in the house to break free from years of confinement and mistreatment.
Following the incident, Sullivan’s daughter drove her away in a black Acura, where they remained nearby while firefighters put out the fire and her stepson, whose name was not disclosed, was rescued from the residence.
In the footage, which is partially redacted, Sullivan, 56, explains to an officer what happened after the fire started.Â

Police previously released footage showing Sullivan’s stepson being carried out of the home and into an ambulance.Â
Fox News Digital reached out to Sullivan’s attorney Ioannis Kaloidis through a spokesperson.Â
