Lindsay Shiver, a mother from Georgia, is facing allegations of conspiring to hire a hitman to murder her estranged husband, former NFL player Robert Shiver. She is believed to have planned this with the help of her supposed lover from the Bahamas. Recent reports suggest that she is set to be released on bail from a prison in the Bahamas.
Shiver, aged 38, is anticipated to come back to the US after paying a bail amount of $100,000. This information was shared by “Good Morning America,” who had previously interviewed Shiver, leading to disapproval from the Nassau judge handling the case of the former Georgia beauty pageant victor.
Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson had revoked Shiver’s bail after the GMA interview, deeming it a show of disrespect towards the court’s leniency. However, this week, she appears to have reversed her decision on the condition that Shiver and her 30-year-old partner, Terrance Bethel, adhere to a gag order requiring them to remain silent.
Shiver’s Bahamas attorney, Ian Cargill, said she was expected to be released on bail on Thursday, WDHN reported. Cargill did not immediately respond to an inquiry from Fox News Digital regarding her reported release.
Robert told the judge he was “thankful to be alive” during a December 2023 court appearance, where he appeared via Zoom, as Court TV previously reported.Â
