Like clockwork, California Gov. Gavin Newsom sent out an email from his Campaign For Democracy PAC Sunday morning pretending that he and officials like LA Mayor Karen Bass are victims and that they aren’t part of the root cause of the violence that plagued the City of Angels over the weekend. You can almost hear him saying, “Hey ChatGPT, write a statement using all my favorite meaningless progressive buzzwords, make all my failures sound like successes, and blame Trump for everything that’s wrong with my state.”
If that’s what happened, ChatGPT didn’t disappoint:
Last night, President Trump ordered the deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops in Los Angeles, using the excuse of protests against his immigration raids.
Let me be totally clear about what is happening here.
We have been working closely with law enforcement. There is no unmet need. The President is attempting to inflame passions and provoke a response.
If there is no unmet need, why are there cars burning in the street? Why are dudes standing on the side of the road hurling rocks at law enforcement vehicles?
