Here are just a few of CNN’s doomsday headlines:
Not everyone is in panic mode; in fact, at General Motors, there is a strategic decision to increase truck production in the U.S. and recruit new employees in Indiana:
The leading automaker is enlisting several hundred temporary employees to enhance the output of light-duty trucks at its assembly plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana, according to information shared with FOX Business.
“As part of our routine assessment and alignment process to oversee vehicle inventory, we consistently modify and update production schedules,” stated General Motors. The company also mentioned that the operational modifications made in Fort Wayne are aimed at “sustaining current manufacturing and business requirements.”
Indiana Republican Senator Jim Banks was pumped: “Today’s announcement from General Motors is great news for Hoosiers. It hasn’t even been 24 hours and President Trump’s plan is already delivering for working families in Indiana in a big way.”
