Emira D’Spain is probably used to making history. But now, she’s making Bravo history.
The Bravo universe introduced a new cast member, a content creator/model, in the premiere episode of “Next Gen NYC.” This individual is the first transgender cast member to secure a full-time spot on any Bravo show. Known for her popular TikTok account where she shares “Get Ready With Me” videos, she also has a successful modeling career with well-known brands. Additionally, she made a surprise appearance in a highly-anticipated sequel film earlier this year.

Emira D’Spain, a 28-year-old model/content creator, graduated from New York University and crossed paths with her fellow cast member Brooks Marks. She previously held the position of beauty director at “Paper” magazine. D’Spain gained widespread recognition as the first Black transgender woman to model for Victoria’s Secret. In addition to this groundbreaking achievement, she is also the inaugural full-time transgender cast member on Bravo. D’Spain’s modeling portfolio includes collaborations with renowned brands such as Fenty Beauty, UGG, and Anastasia Beverly Hills. She even had a cameo in the film “Another Simple Favor” featuring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick.
For those unfamiliar with D’Spain’s modeling work, they might recognize her as a prominent content creator on TikTok. With a considerable following of 1.3 million and growing, D’Spain has captivated audiences with her engaging content on the platform.
D’Spain’s social media accounts don’t give away too much about her personal life, though she did open up about her boyfriend Kevin in the second episode of Next Gen NYC. According to D’Spain, she met Kevin on Hinge and he’s the “first serious, serious relationship” she’s ever had. D’Spain said Kevin works in finance and described him as “calm and grounded.” While the duo seemed very much so in love on their mini golf date, it’s unclear if they are still together today.
