Los Angeles authorities have revealed extensive charges brought against multiple individuals accused of inciting violence amidst ongoing riots against immigration enforcement in the sanctuary city.
During a press briefing held on Tuesday, L.A. County District Attorney Nathan Hochman, U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli, and California Highway Patrol Southern Division Chief Chris Margaris disclosed that additional state and federal charges have been levied against several rioters.
Hochman stated, “This particular group had intentions of engaging in criminal activities. They perceived the protest as an opportunity to conceal their actions, a chance to pursue their illegal activities and commit various crimes that, in many aspects, have discredited the legitimate demonstrators.”

“Emiliano Garduno-Galvez is a criminal illegal alien from Mexico who threatened the lives of federal law enforcement officers by attacking them with a Molotov cocktail during the violent riots in Los Angeles,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin previously said in a statement. “ICE arrested Garduno-Galvez, and he is now being charged with attempted murder. These are the types of criminal illegal aliens that rioters are fighting to protect.”Â
