At what cost would you save your friends? On Beast Games, it’s about half a million dollars.
During the 7th Episode of Prime Video’s popular dystopian reality series, Player 539 was selected as the captain for a challenge called “Trolley Problem.” In this challenge, he had to pick his three least favorite rivals who were positioned on one train track while a yellow Lamborghini Aventador was on the other track. He had the tough decision to either eliminate the three contestants by pulling the lever or forgo the chance to claim the luxury car. As expected, he opted for the new Lambo and walked away with it. Player 952, who had previously won an island, was an obvious choice to be eliminated.
Looking into the specs of the Lamborghini Aventador is a good starting point. Fun fact: it only gets about 11 miles per gallon! Next, you would need to decide on the model you are interested in and then locate a Lamborghini dealership. Finally, get ready to write a hefty check because the price range for the 2022 model of the Aventador falls between $498,000 and $813,500. Quite the investment!
The challenges in the “Trolley Problem” game intensified as the episode unfolded. For the next challenge, Player 539 was once again selected to act on behalf of the contestants. This time, the track featured three of his least favorite players along with a Tesla holding a hidden $100,000 in the trunk. He made the tough choice to eliminate the three competitors and forego the Tesla to save his closest ally in the game, Player 359.
For the third “Trolley Problem,” the group decided to take a risk and choose a different captain: Player 865. One one track was best friends Player 539 and Player 359, along with a mystery player with a bag over the mannequin. On the other track was Player 865’s best friend. Player 865 eliminated the two boys, and in a shocking twist, she discovered she was the player under the bag also leaving the competition.
The episode ends with a final “Trolley Problem” featuring Player 830 as captain, the same player who gave up a million dollars earlier in the series to save her team. This time, she was presented with the decision to save two of her favorite players, or one of her friends and a player she doesn’t trust. We will find out her choice at the beginning of next Thursday’s episode on Prime Video. Ten players will remain to compete for the $5 million grand prize.
