President-elect Donald Trump and soon-to-be VP JD Vance are only about 48 hours away from swearing to defend the U.S. Constitution and protect the American people. It seems like we can finally stop holding our breath in anticipation.
It’s happening, people!
However, let’s rewind a bit to something that sitting President Biden (and Vice President Kamala Harris to some extent) did on Friday. They claimed, albeit incorrectly, that there is now a 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which is now “the law of the land” simply because they said so.
What did Biden say?
President Biden stated, “In alignment with my oath and responsibility to the Constitution and the nation, I assert that based on what I believe and what has been ratified by three-fourths of the states, the 28th Amendment is now in effect. This amendment guarantees all Americans equal rights and protections under the law irrespective of their gender.”
