Over four months ago, Texas Realtor Suzanne Simpson went missing and her husband, Brad Simpson, who is facing charges for her murder, appeared in court this week as his defense team seeks to identify any weaknesses in the evidence against him.
At a hearing held on Wednesday in a San Antonio courtroom, prosecutors disclosed that they were preparing to receive a substantial amount of evidence, estimated at five to six terabytes, from the Texas Rangers. In response, defense lawyers stated that they still needed to review approximately one terabyte of evidence before proceeding with a motion to challenge the indictment, as reported by KSAT.
Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson Deon Cockrell confirmed with Fox News Digital that efforts are ongoing to locate Suzanne’s body. Law enforcement officials had previously indicated in an affidavit back in November that there were no indications of her still being alive.
“They won’t stop looking,” Cockrell said. “We still want to find her, just as much as her family does.”Â
