Are you feeling the absence of ABC’s High Potential? We’ve got the perfect series to plug that gap in your binge-watching routine: Wild Cards!
Developed by Michael Konyves, this beloved crime drama centers on the unlikely partnership between a conventional detective (Giacomo Gianniotti) and a charming probationer con artist (Vanessa Morgan) who must collaborate to crack cases. Decider’s Joel Keller praised the critically acclaimed show, recommending viewers to “Stream It” and highlighting Vanessa Morgan’s delightful portrayal of Max.
Wild Cards is broadcast on CBC Television in Canada and The CW in the United States. While the season finale has already aired in Canada, the last episode of the season will be shown on Wednesday, May 7 in the U.S.
What does the future hold for Max and Cole? Will there be a Wild Cards Season 3? Here’s everything you need to know.
The second season consists of 13 total episodes.
The Season 2 finale (“Sunrise, Sunset”) airs from 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
Okay, so this is a weird one. The good news is that Wild Cards has been renewed for Seasons 3 and 4 by CBC Television in Canada, but the show’s renewal status in the United States is still TBD. Per TVLine, the show’s future on The CW has yet to be determined.
Considering the show’s success on The CW and Prime Video, Seasons 3 and 4 will likely find a U.S. streaming home at some point, but as of now, there’s no official news to report.
Every episode of Wild Cards is currently streaming on The CW website. The first season is also available on Prime Video.
The Wild Cards Season 2 finale airs Wednesday, May 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
