Israeli forces have initiated military ground operations in Gaza, particularly targeting the Hamas stronghold of Rafah to weaken the terror group’s infrastructure, as reported by authorities on Thursday. They aim to degrade the capabilities of Hamas in the region.
The Israel Defense Forces said a ground operation was taking place in the “Shavura” neighborhood, as well as parts of central and northern Gaza.

Recently, there have been incoming rocket sirens alarming the residents of Israel, indicating the constant threat they live under. Senator Fetterman highlighted this on social media, urging people to consider the gravity of the situation for those affected and the importance of supporting Israel in protecting its people.
Moreover, a sacred site revered by Christians, Muslims, and Jews has also been attacked by Yemen-based, Iran-supported Houthi rebels. These rebels have targeted not only the holy site but also engaged in disrupting commercial shipping in the Red Sea and even striking U.S. naval forces. This aggressive action is in solidarity with Hamas, causing concern among the Israeli Defense Forces.
Authorities also announced the deaths of Hamas senior leaders and another from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group.
