The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have effectively shortened the career prospects of Hamas leaders through their operations. On Saturday, the IDF revealed on their official X account that another Hamas leader’s status has been changed from present to past tense:
We eliminated the Head of Hamas, again. He happens to be a Sinwar too.

In a speech to the Israeli parliament, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu highlighted a number of Hamas leaders who have been eliminated by the IDF, providing a comprehensive list of these individuals. Among those mentioned was Sinwar.
Netanyahu detailed the names of prominent Hamas figures who had been killed in the conflict, with Sinwar included in the list. He stated, “We have neutralized thousands of terrorists, including figures such as (Mohammed) Deif, (Ismail) Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and Mohammed Sinwar.”
Netanyahu did not elaborate, and Israel’s military did not immediately issue any new statement on Sinwar’s apparent death.
While there is as yet no information on how this latest Sinwar was eliminated, the IDF tends to prefer missile and smart-bomb attacks for these kinds of operations.
