Jamie Foxx compares Diddy to the Devil as he jokes about 'poisoning' rumours and the disgraced rapper's 'flaming baby oil' in Netflix special

In a recent Netflix special, Jamie Foxx shared his harrowing experience of nearly dying after suffering a brain bleed and a stroke. During his narration, he made a striking comparison between Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and the Devil.

In the documentary, Jamie addressed the swirling rumours surrounding his mysterious 2023 hospitalisation and its alleged connection to Diddy.

The speculation gained traction following reports that Jamie made comments about Diddy, whose nickname is Puffy, during the filming of the show.

Detailing the aftermath of his stroke, which was triggered by a brain bleed, Jamie recounted, ‘I often mention this, but in that moment, I didn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel, just the tunnel itself.’

‘The tunnel was sweltering. I started wondering if I had taken a wrong turn. As I gazed towards the tunnel’s end, I sensed a figure beckoning me, saying, come on… was it the devil or perhaps Puffy?’

‘I’m f***ing around, but if that was Puffy he had a flaming bottle of Johnson and… no, I’m just kidding.’

Diddy is currently in federal custody awaiting trial on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking and was previously arrested in New York on September 16.

In addition to the criminal charges against him, he is also facing a series of civil lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault and physical violence.

In the special, Jamie speaks about rumours linking the health crisis he suffered last year to Diddy, and began the stand-up with a dig at him.

‘The internet was trying to kill me, saying Puffy was trying to kill me. Hell no, I left those parties early. Something didn’t look right,’ he quipped.

‘The internet was trying to kill me,’ Foxx said, referencing the online speculation that Combs had something to do with his hospitalization. He joked: ‘The internet was saying that Puffy was trying to kill me. I know what you’re thinking… Did he?!’

‘Hell, no,’ he added with a jibe about Combs’ infamous ‘Freak Off’ parties. ‘I left them parties early. I was out by 9, n—–, something don’t look right, n—–. It looks slippery in here!’

A source close to Diddy previously insisted to DailyMail.com in October that ‘there is no truth to Sean Combs putting Jamie Foxx in the hospital.’

Choke No Joke, a producer-director, told Comedy Hype’s YouTube account October 7 that he was at the first and third shows.

After explaining that he suffered a stroke, caused by a bleed on the brain, Jamie explained: 'I say this all the time, I saw the tunnel, I didn't see the light'

Choke No Joke said Foxx identified himself as ‘the one who called the FBI on’ Combs, 54, who has been in custody since his September arrest in New York City in connection with federal sex trafficking allegations.

Foxx said in a serious tone during one of the shows that ‘Diddy was responsible for what happened to him,’ Choke No Joke said.

Foxx was laying low out of fear of retribution from Combs, Choke No Joke said, citing how the actor quickly returned to the limelight after Combs was arrested September 16 – attending a Dallas Cowboys practice the following week.

Choke No Joke added, ‘And now he just went and shot his special. And who’s the special strongly based around? Diddy.’

Choke No Joke subsequently told Page Six that he’d been ‘shocked’ Foxx spoke about the topic, as he previously heard rumors within the entertainment industry linking Foxx’s health issues with Combs’ legal woes.

Big Homie.CC, who is a celebrity bodyguard, said in an October 19 exchange with Cam Capone News that he believes Foxx was ‘poisoned’ by Combs last year, leading to a lengthy recovery period , and convincing Foxx to submit info to authorities regarding Combs.

Big Homie.CC said, ‘Jamie Foxx reported him to the FBI because of it … Jamie Foxx reported this man to the FBI because of this.’

Big Homie.CC told Page Six that he attended two of Foxx’s Atlanta shows while accompanying a client.

Two concertgoers  – Choke No Joke (L) and Big Homie.CC – have detailed Foxx’s comments at the shows in regard to the Diddy rumors

Another attendee, Dennis L.A. White, told the outlet he had been at the latter two shows, and believes Foxx distanced Combs from his health problems in his monologues.

White said Foxx said something along the lines of: ‘People keep asking me if Diddy was responsible. He was not responsible. If he was, I would’ve been dead.’

Foxx advertised the shows on his social media September 2, saying he would take ‘the stage to share his journey through a serious health scare, filled with humor, heart, and inspiration!’

The ad read: ‘Experience Jamie Foxx like never before in this intimate and engaging performance, as he opens up about his struggles, triumphs, and everything in between. Get ready for a night of laughter, reflection, and genuine connection.’

In a teaser for the show, which was directed by Hamish Hamilton, Foxx said, ‘I said, ‘If I can stay funny, then I can stay alive’ – I’m back.’

The comedy event is one of a number of forthcoming projects the A-list actor has on slate, as he headlines the comedy movie Back in Action for the streaming service in a reunion with Any Given Sunday and Annie costar Cameron Diaz. The film is expected to begin streaming January 17, 2025.

Meanwhile Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn without bail.

Combs was arrested in September in Manhattan after a probe into alleged sex trafficking, and he is accused of drugging and raping victims as young as nine.

And since facing criminal charges, over 100 victims have come forward claiming they were targeted by the disgraced rap mogul.

Diddy has pled not guilty to charges alleging he coerced and abused women for years, aided by associates and employees, and silenced victims through blackmail and violence, including kidnapping, arson and physical beatings.

Federal agents that they confiscated ‘1,000 bottles’ of baby oil and lubricant from Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles, as part of a raid linked to a probe into his alleged sex trafficking empire.

The Closer to God rapper was defiant only until CNN leaked a video of him in May violently assaulting his ex-girlfriend Casandra ‘Cassie’ Fine at the InterContinental Century City back in 2016.
