The rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, was accused of assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a 2000 MTV Video Music Awards party. The lawsuit, filed last December, also involved Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
The unnamed accuser has voluntarily dismissed the case and Carter, 55, has now sued his accuser’s attorney Tony Buzbee, who filed the allegations.
According to insiders, Beyonce is said to be feeling an immense sense of ‘relief’ now that the lawsuit has crumbled.
