JD Vance’s competence in his role is so evident that mentioning it is almost as redundant as stating that water is wet. He made a seamless and confident transition into the position of GOP vice presidential nominee in July. Following his successful election in November as Donald Trump’s second in command, he has continued to leave a strong impression.
Vice Presidents are typically expected to act as the right-hand individuals to the presidents they support. They play a crucial role in reinforcing arguments, presenting cases to the public, Congress, and the media, and showcasing their readiness to lead in the event of any unfortunate circumstances happening to the president, whether at home or overseas.
Despite his relatively short time in the VP role, Vance has once again demonstrated his capabilities during the recent White House press conference. The conference addressed the tragic mid-air collision near Reagan National Airport that occurred the night before. Reports suggest that none of the 64 individuals on the commercial plane or the three aboard the military helicopter survived the incident.
