Jenna Bush Hager Says Savannah Guthrie’s Husband Once Tried To Kick Her Out Of Their Home: He “Wanted Me To Leave So Badly”

Jenna Bush Hager from Today likes to enjoy a good time. Recently, she shared a funny story with Hoda Kotb about a time she stayed too long at Savannah Guthrie’s house.

Kotb and Bush Hager were discussing when it’s appropriate to leave a party. Kotb mentioned, “You know when the host is like, ‘Alrighty then…’ Some people start doing dishes and others still don’t leave.”

This comment sparked a memory for Bush Hager. She recalled a time she didn’t pick up on the subtle cues. “Wait, did I ever tell you— I hope I did, but if not you’re gonna love this,” she said. “There was a time when I was at Savannah’s house and Mike Feldman wanted me to leave so badly but didn’t say it that he started vacuuming around my feet.”

She continued, “He’s vacuuming around my feet to where I was like, ‘Mike, if you’re ready for me to go, I’m ready to go.’”

The Today hosts shared a laugh as Bush Hager also warned viewers that “if you stay too late, there’s dangers involved.”

Kotb agreed. “You gotta be careful,” she said.

“As my mother says, nothing good happens after midnight,” Bush Hager said, later adding that staying out late can lead to “dancing, spinning around.”

“I’ve lost two teeth that way. Well, injured two teeth,” she added.

Bush Hager recently showed viewers her “go-to party trick” by climbing onto Kotb’s back during a particularly bizarre moment on Today With Hoda & Jenna.

She explained to their episode guests Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie that the special move is called the “bucking bronco” as Kotb crawled across the floor with Bush Hager on her back.

Though Richie and Hilton did not seem interested in performing it themselves (despite Kotb’s challenge), Richie did say that they were “stealing” the move.

“Please do, it’s a real party pleaser!” Bush Hager responded.

Today with Hoda & Jenna airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.
