Jimmy Kimmel Responds To Trump Supporter Claiming God Put Trump In The White House: If He Did, “It Was To Test Us”

Following another eventful week in the second presidency of Trump, Jimmy Kimmel targeted the individuals still supporting him, referring to them as “orange nosers” during a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

On the latest episode of Live, Kimmel humorously remarked, “The orange nosers are going to extreme lengths to praise him; it’s unprecedented.” He amusingly highlighted the shift from Republicans wearing flag pins to now donning pins adorned with Trump’s face. The comedian even showcased a picture of FCC chairman Brendan Carr proudly sporting one of these Trump pins.

Kimmel also drew attention to a recent incident involving Anthony Constantino, the owner of Stickermule, who revealed a seven-foot-tall bronze statue of Trump known as the “Defiance Monument.” Kimmel comically mentioned that the statue had already received a “restraining order from the Statue of Liberty.”

Kimmel did not let up as he then railed against Trump supporters claiming “God put him [in the White House]” and that he speaks “from his heart.”

But Kimmel wasn’t buying it. “That’s not his heart, honey, it’s his ass – different part of his body,” he fired back, receiving cheers from the Live audience. “And if God really did put him there it was to test us.”

Kimmel recently responded to Trump supporters who labeled him a “hypocrite” for his work on The Man Show in an interview with Rolling Stone.

“It’s fair game,” he said. “I think it’s kind of funny, because the very people who are using those videos as an example of why I’m a horrible person were probably the biggest fans of the show at that time. We did the show a little tongue-in-cheek.”

But the late night host maintained his stance against Trump and his right wing supporters, calling the president “vindictive” and labeling his right-hand-man Elon Musk “a very bad person.”

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
