It may come as a surprise to many that Jon Hamm, the star of Mad Men, is a huge fan of Bravo TV. During his appearance on CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, Hamm couldn’t contain his excitement as he discussed the latest reality show drama.
Even Anderson Cooper seemed taken aback when Cohen inquired about Hamm’s thoughts on the current season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Cooper’s surprise was evident as he asked, “Is Jon Hamm a fan?” Cohen eagerly confirmed, to which Cooper responded with a confused “Really?”
While Hamm did share his opinion on the show, he was more interested in discussing the recent breakup between Paige DeSorbo from Summer House and Craig Conover from Southern Charm, who ended their three-year relationship.
DeSorbo had just announced their split on Monday’s (Dec. 30) episode of her Giggly Squad podcast. And Hamm was devastated, to say the least.
“I got to pour one out for Craig and Paige, my goodness,” he said. “End of an era. Jeez. Who would have thunk it?”
He added, “You know I’m a fan.”
The Landman actor also took a moment to roast RHOBH star Dorit Kemsley during the live broadcast.
“I have some thoughts. Dorit Kemsley is not doing it for me these days,” he said. Even Cohen appeared shocked by Hamm’s take.
Hamm added, “I’m having some issues with her mentality and her issues.” He did not elaborate further before switching the subject to DeSorbo and Conover’s breakup.
While announcing the news on her podcast, DeSorbo frankly called the situation “weird.”
“I love him. I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. I don’t think it was a bad thing,” she said. “I think we both were being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want. I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
She also maintained that Conover was “the best boyfriend I’ve ever had.”
