So-called “Doomsday Mom” Lori Vallow Daybell,
When Charles Vallow was killed, his daughter Tylee found him while armed with a baseball bat, having heard screams coming from inside their home. Tylee explained to the authorities that she was trying to defend her mother when Charles took the bat from her. It was reported that Charles then attempted to attack Cox, who claimed he shot Charles in self-defense. Cox was not charged in relation to Charles’ death and passed away from natural causes a few months later.
If Vallow Daybell is found guilty, she could potentially receive another life sentence. She is currently awaiting trial in Arizona for an alleged murder-for-hire plan involving her niece’s ex-husband. A judge rejected her request to have the case dismissed, leading to the upcoming trial in May.
