Joy Behar made a shocking suggestion to And Just Like That… star Mario Cantone on The View: Get on Ozempic.
Before discussing the new season of the HBO show, Cantone joined the Hot Topics panel where Behar and the ladies had just finished talking about the peculiar side effect known as “Ozempic penis”. This side effect involves men experiencing their penis enlarging due to a weight loss drug. When Cantone expressed nervousness about filming a sex scene with his younger co-star, Behar jokingly suggested he should try the weight loss drug.
After admitting to working out for several months before filming, Cantone humorously commented on the age gap between him and his co-star, saying, “The juxtaposition is horrifying cause he’s, you know, 12, and I’m 97.” Despite the nerves, he received positive feedback in his DMs. “I didn’t sleep the night before. But my DMs blew up! It was very nice, the boys came out!”
Behar then alluded to their previous segment, asking Cantone, “Can we suggest, perhaps, the Ozempic for you?”
While Behar’s suggestion was shocking, Cantone, of course, took it in stride and clapped back with his own fiery response.
Addressing the topic of the Ozempic side effect, he playfully mentioned, “No, the Ozempic thing, it’s only because they can finally see it.” This remark elicited laughter from both the ladies of The View and the audience. To add to the humor, Cantone quipped, “And I don’t need it. I’m Italian!”
Behar and her co-hosts could not contain their laughter while discussing the shocking Ozempic side effect earlier in the broadcast.
“You know what guys, you don’t need Ozempic. Just go on TV and drop your pants. The camera adds 10 pounds, try that,” Behar joked.
“It’s an optical illusion, like when you look in the side mirror and it says, ‘Objects look bigger than they appear to be,’” she later added.
Alyssa Farah Griffin was not so surprised by the news, however. “Of course men get a good side effect and women wouldn’t,” she said.
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
