Mark Consuelos was missing from Live with Kelly and Mark once again this morning, but thankfully, Kelly Ripa was joined by a familiar friendly face.
Andy Cohen joined Ripa as a co-host on Wednesday, taking over from his New Year’s Eve colleague Anderson Cooper, who co-hosted the previous day. Like Cooper, Cohen has made appearances on Live as both a guest and a substitute co-host.
The Bravo mainstay and Watch What Happens Live host joined Ripa in chatting with Watson star Morris Chestnut.
The daytime talk show, currently in its 37th season, has experienced high ratings with the real-life husband and wife team leading the way, and it’s clear why! Consuelos stepped in for Ryan Seacrest, the host of American Idol and Wheel of Fortune, in April 2023, and ever since then, he and Ripa have brought their delightful and playful dynamic to the show.
Naturally, we’re missing Consuelos this week, and we’re sure we’re not the only ones. If you’re wondering when Mark Consuelos will return to co-host on Live, read on to discover when you can expect to see him back at the co-host’s desk.
On Tuesday’s episode, Ripa refrained from mentioning where Consuelos was while introducing Cooper as her co-host for the day. She also didn’t share additional details this morning while introducing Cohen.
Fortunately, Live fans don’t have to wait too long before Consuelos is back! He is set to return to Live on Friday (Jan. 24), per the show’s guest listings. On Thursday (Jan. 23), Carson Kressley will take on co-hosting duties with Ripa, as they sit down with Maybe Happy Ending star Darren Criss.
